2. Hosting and server log files

This website runs on a server in Germany. When you visit, the following data is stored automatically in server log files: IP address, date and time, requested page, browser type, referrer. This is done to ensure operation and security (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, legitimate interest). Retention: e.g. 7 days, please check.

3. Contact form and email

If you contact us via the contact form or email, we process the data you provide (name, email, company, topic, message) to handle your request. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in handling enquiries). We delete the data once it is no longer needed and no statutory retention duties apply.

To protect against spam we use a hidden field (honeypot) and a rate limit; your IP address is processed briefly for this. No third-party services are embedded.

4. Cookies and consent management

We use technically necessary cookies/storage entries (your cookie choice, light/dark mode). Legal basis: § 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. All other cookies, in particular for audience measurement, are only set with your consent (§ 25(1) TDDDG, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer.

5. Web analytics with Matomo

With your consent we use Matomo to analyse website usage. Matomo is operated by us on our own server in Germany; no data is shared with third parties. Processed: shortened IP address, pages viewed, time on page, browser and device information, referrer. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TDDDG. Retention: e.g. 13 months.

6. Fonts

The typeface (Inter) is served locally from our server. No connection to Google servers is made.

7. Recipients

Your data is only passed on to third parties where legally permitted or required (e.g. IT service providers as processors under a contract pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR).

8. Your rights
